Hey Everyone,
It’s been a while since our last update. We hope everyone is enjoying the Spring so far and have had a chance to come up on the net and interact with some of the members.
A couple updates:
New Website – We are working on a new Pikes Peak GMRS website. It’s built from the ground up and will address issues that some members are having with the current website. It will be a seamless transition for everyone; member information will be automatically transferred over and current members do not need to re-register. There’s no set launch date yet, but it’s coming soon. Stay tuned!
MyGMRS Equipment Status – The MyGMRS equipment is currently down. We are working on an upgrade. There is no timeline on when the new equipment will be installed and operational. The Admin team are working diligently to get it up set up and running. We will keep everyone updated on the status.
Weekly Net – There were some interest in starting a Weekly Net. We’re currently planning details and periodicity. We will also need some volunteer Net Controllers. If you have ideas and/or would like volunteer as a NCS, please reach out and join the conversation on the Pikes Peak GMRS Facebook Chat or email me at ma**@pi***********.org.
