We want to express our gratitude to “Don Kammer” (WRBX373) for your generous donation! This will be put to good use immediately!
Because of you, we can expedite the return of JD’s 700 Repeater (West Repeater) since it went down due to the loss of the antenna mass from yesterday’s wind storm (12/15/2021.)
Your generosity is what helps us get these projects done.
You truly make a difference! ?
Thanks again,
Colorado Springs’ GMRS Radio Club Admin.
I use Chainlink Fence Top Rail for my masts, and have no problem. I have a 10 Meter dipole on 20 feet of top rail, without down guys, that withstood this last windstorm. My VHF/UHF antenna is running up the side of the house on top rail, like 25 feet elevation. Two 18 inch stand off mounts on the wall, and it has withstood the winds. My 20 M Inverted V has an apex of 35 feet on a fiberglass extendable with 12 guys on 4 anchors, and had worked well. Any assistance I can provide, please feel free to reach out. ke****@gm***.com
