Changes are afoot…

Hey everyone, we wanted to make a short post letting you know that the 600 “Traveler’s Repeater” has been changed to 725.

This repeater has also changed from an open system, to a members only repeater.

This will be the final change to this repeater!

We changed the frequency do to having less traffic on 725 from “bubble pack” radios and the repeater only having so many possibilities that are programmed into it. The frequency and codes are set to certain channels and we needed to change the open system to something more that could be controlled. We also had to take in account of other repeaters from us and possibly others in the area.

Check out the “Colorado Springs 725” page for the updated information for your radio(s).

Also, we are wanting to see how many people would be up for a “Meet-N-Greet/Meeting” here before the summer is over.

Comment down below if you would be willing to join in.
If we get enough people then we will make a post, as well as, add it to the calendar.

Lastly, we are looking for volunteers to fill more positions within the club’s administration. If you, or someone you know, would be a good fit for a position send an email to us at ad***@co****.org

The positions we are looking to fill are:
Secretary
Treasurer
Chief Maintenance Officer
2 Maintenance Technicians
Web Programmer (MySQL, WordPress, JS, APIs, HTML(5), PHP, and CSS)

Thanks,
Your Colorado Springs’ GMRS Radio Club Administration.
