Ok folks this is the situation we are in regarding the 700 Network…
We sent the West/South (We haven’t decided on if the name will be West or South yet) repeater in to get reprogrammed for the new codes we are using. So, that is going to be down until probably after Christmas.
The North/East Repeater (Again, haven’t decided on the name yet) we setup and is sending out an hourly Station ID, which is in morse code. Be sure to listen for that and let us know where you hear it from. It should broadcast a little after :17 past the hour.
The problem we are having with this repeater is that we installed two antennas, one for RX and one for TX, but it is overloading the repeater and causing it to not receive pretty much at all. ?
We are needing to get a Duplexer for it to run properly, but i have now ran completely out of my own personal funding for the setup.
We need to raise around $400 for the duplexer and new cable ends (We have N-Connectors right now and they will have to be switched over to PL-259 for the Duplexer.)
We understand that Christmas is right around the corner and know that budgets are now tight. Anything you can help us with will help to get this repeater up and running.
