650 Growing Pains

Hey everyone,

We hope that you are all doing well!

We wanted to let you know that the 650 is going offline for awhile.

There is something going on with some part of the equipment that is causing it to not receive and transmit as well as it should.

We really want to get this setup working correctly!

To figure out the problem we need to take the repeater offline for awhile to run some tests and possible send the equipment back to where it was bought for further testing and repair if something is not working as it should.

The only thing that is not new is the repeater itself, but everything else is brand new and should not be having these problems.

We just got the repeater back from BridgeCom a few months ago. So, it should be working as intended, but it will be checked over as well… just in case!

Thank you for your understanding as we go through these growing pains and get everything setup, and running, the best that it can.

Feel free to use the travelers repeater in the mean time.

Once everything has been fixed we will let you know… So, we can finally get some good use out of this repeater and the site it’s located at.

We may have to change the frequency based on a sitewide RF scan. If we do end up changing the frequency we will let you know, but for now it should be staying the same.

We wish you well and if there is anything you would like to talk about, feel free to email us @ ad***@co****.org
